These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Sandcastle Designs's Website, located at www.sandcastledesigns.net.
By accessing this Website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Sandcastle Designs if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
SHIPPING
Each ready to ship bag will ship within 48 hours of order date. Every custom bag is made to order and production will depend on fabric availability.
Shipping is determined by weight in the US and $40 for all other countries. Our bags are packaged in a protective muslin bag and shipped via USPS Priority or First Class Mail.
You can choose to pay for "signature confirmation" during checkout - which will guarantee that your bag is not left unattended on a porch. Any packages that state "delivered" on the tracking information, but are not accounted for is not the responsibility of Sandcastle Designs. Please contact your local post office.
When your bag ships, you will be emailed your tracking number so you know when to expect delivery. We do suggest hugging your mailman when your bag is delivered. It'll make their day.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
All international shipping is $40. Any custom fees are the responsibility of the buyer. We ship USPS International Priority Mail and tracking information only tracks the package until it leaves the US. Shipping times for international shipments have taken up to 2 months for delivery after they leave the US and is out of our control. International purchasing is at your own risk and we cannot be responsible for lost packages or ones stuck in customs at this time. So sorry!
CUSTOM BAG PRODUCTION TIME
Custom bag orders vary depending on the bag and time of year. Each product will be advised at order date. If you just can't wait for a bag (and we don't blame you), be sure to check our Ready to Ship section for bags we have in stock for quick ship!
REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
We want you to be completely happy with your Sandcastle Designs Bag! Because all of our products are handmade and custom, we ask that customers request a refund within 48 hours of receiving your bag- any cancellations when a bag is already in process may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Store credit is also available for customers within 30 days of receiving your purchase - as long the bag has been UNUSED! Store credit will be emailed in the form of a gift card code and will be valid for 30 days. There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns.
Design Your Own bags with additional requested customizations cannot be returned.
REPAIRS/ WARRANTY WORK
We stand by our products. If you experience any sort of issue with your Sandcastle Designs Bag that needs repaired (within the first year of purchase), we will fix it for you! Email us with the subject line, "Repair" and pictures of the issues. You may be responsible for shipping and/or repair costs.
BAG CARE
We want to help you take care of your bag. Upon receiving it, we suggest Scotchgarding the fabric areas of your bag. Our leather supplier suggests using a leather conditioner such as Dr. Jackson's Leather Conditioner or Dr. Jackson's Hide Rejuvenator once or twice a year to keep the leather supple and conditioned.
Permanent dyes such as denim, lipstick, and red wine are deadly to any type of material - so use your bag with care when around those items. If something non-permanent does get on your bag, some customers have had success using Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on the fabric sections of their bags.
Remember - your bag will treat you as nice as you treat it. Don't put your Sandcastle Designs bag on dirty floors! Hold it in your lap or hang it on your chair. Be intentional to take care of the investment that you made in your Sandcastle Designs bag.
DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?
We charge a 7% sale tax for orders billed to a North Carolina address.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Email us at reneeweal@sandcastledesigns.net with your Order # and details of what you'd like changed. If your bag has not been cut, we will most certainly change your order!
